Bobby Bridgeman

Digital Manager

Bobby studied Film and Literature at the University of Warwick and then a Masters in Sports Broadcast Journalism at Staffordshire University which included work placements at BBC Radio Shropshire and then Aston Villa FC.

Bobby then became a permanent transfer to Villa Park joining the in-house media team as a broadcast journalist. He spent over 6 years at the football club filming and editing videos, producing a weekly international TV programme, conducting interviews and also both radio and TV commentary on Villa's matches.

Following the blood cancer diagnosis of Club Captain Stiliyan Petrov, Bobby then moved to Midlands-based charity Cure Leukaemia initially as Media Manager and later as Head of Communications.

During his 7 and a half years at the charity, Bobby oversaw all the marketing and communications at Cure Leukaemia helping them secure and deliver a 2-year national partnership with Deutsche Bank which raised over £2,000,000.

This allowed Cure Leukaemia to make the transition from a regional organisation to a national charity in January 2020 when it began funding 12 hospitals across the UK as part of the Trials Acceleration Programme. Later in 2020, he also helped the charity become the first ever official charity partner of The Tour de France in the UK.

With a varied career to date, Bobby has gained valuable experience and skills across all aspects of communication allowing him to offer wide-ranging advice and content creation to businesses.
